This Applescript application forces the boot hard drive's trash to be emptied using administrative password access (the same as is used to install applications. Two known bugs: 1. It does not work on items trashed from the non-boot drive. 2. It will not make the icon change on the trashcan after it has been emptied. Click on the trashcan to verify the file has been removed.

This program, 'Force Empty Trash - Mac OS X" works better than any I've ever used before. I have a new Imac intel machine. It worked swift and perfectly! Upon opening the app you will need to enter your system password and it done! In the trash you'll find couple of new files that can easily be empties using the regular empty trash procedure.
