BlueHarvest is the easiest way to keep your disks and file servers clean of Mac "dust". BlueHarvest automatically removes DS_Store and ._ AppleDouble files (resource forks) from your USB keys, SD cards and file servers, etc. BlueHarvest removes these items as they're created so you'll always be "dust" free. Need to clean a disk, folder or archive immediately? No problem, simply control-click a disk or folder in the Finder and select "Clean using BlueHarvest" to clean it imediately. BlueHarvest features a very simple user interface and is fully configurable via System Preferences. While BlueHarvest is very easy to use, it isn't a toy, so be sure to read the How To and FAQs (above) before installing. Using BlueHarvest may result in some strange behaviours or you may find some Mac features inaccessible.
this is the only program I could find that would delete annoying .DS_Store files on my network drives.

I can't see any cons.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
The text reads like all the other DS_Store wipers, but actually BlueHarvest is different, because it lets you
1. *prevent* DS_Store files rather than having to choose a folder you want to clean on a manual keypress and
2. it lets you prevent DS_Store (AND other OSX as well as Windows invicibles!!) depending on whether the volume is a network drive (...which is a standard OSX functionality anyway...) or an external drive and (THIS IS WHAT I, and I guess EVERYONE, need) decides on creating DS_Store depending on the FILESYSTEM. I would have liked more flexibility on this, though (configurability WHICH FSes in detail)
For me, the latter is THE solution. I don't want no OSX invincibles on any fat-formatted or windows formatted drive, because that's usually the USB flash disks and network drives I use for multiplatforming - why else would I work with a non MacOS formatted drive!
So, this is the tool you need, all the rest I've seen is pathetic.
Excellent, and with responsive support

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
A nice little program that saves me a lot of otherwise tedious cleaning up, and saves my windows-using colleagues (with whom I share a few servers) a lot of confusion.
I was having a problem with repeated authentication in v 1.02, and after having written to the developer, v 1.03 appeared within a day of having identified the cause - Excellent support!
Excellent Idea: on testing
