View, copy, and print samples of your system fonts.
FontLister will help you get a general view of all your fonts, regardless of whether or not they're installed. You can install and remove fonts from FontLister, and you can print samples of your fonts without installing them. The last version featured an updated ansi-table, better installation capabilities, and a much-improved font-export. You can also now copy fonts with drag-and-drop functionality.
My only need was to print out samples of the 700+ fonts on my system. Gave great print samples.
Cons
It's not a con for me, but ONLY review fonts and print fonts works, everything else is non-functional on my Vista computer. Had some trouble with printing landscape, and eventually figured out how. See "Bottom-line summary" for info.
Summary
3/5 rating as much of it doesn't work on Vista, but 4/5 as font printer. Better font samples printout than anything else I've tried. Landscape prints about 20 fonts per page.
HOW:
1. Use CTRL-A to select all fonts.
Keeps forgetting the "landscape" print setting. Only this method works:
2. File, Printer Setup --> change printer and/or settings as needed.
3. File, Print Preview --> click on the book icon for print settings, change to landscape. (All margins .5").
4. Click on "Print".

Pros
Easy to handle, low in resources, fast.
Cons
Some fonts doesn't display correctly , I don't know much about fonts and their related problems.
Summary
Awful. Version 2 at least worked.

Pros
Cons
No matter how many times I tried, it continually locked up my cpu & printers whenever I tried to print. It would the first couple of pages (out of a total of 14) and return an error that my printers were out of paper, EVEN THO they had plenty. I'd then run a test print & they worked fine. This was the case no matter how I would format the printout.

Pros
Nothing to like.
Cons
The program gave errors when initially installing, leading one to wonder whether it would even install to start with. However, somehow it managed to complete the installation.<p>When launched, the program viewed the system fonts just fine, but when attempting to view fonts in other folders, it crashed not just the program, but system.<p>One of the worst font viewing applications around there, right next to Font Xplorer.
Summary
Simple, quick

Pros
Quickly displays all fonts and allows the viewer to see the fonts in a variety of ways. I don't see any annoying "buy me screens" or limitations. Provides access to character maps, ANSI tables, etc.
Cons
Does not allow one to delete fonts from library: not good for font management.

I love to play with fonts in my documents but I don't want hundreds of them on my hard drive, so I've got them on a CD. FontLister lets me print out samples of all of them so I have a handy reference. This is great!
