Appealing front end that makes it look ideal for the task in hand
Cons
- Did not identify a font from an image file (tried a range of options to optimise image) and tech support got it wrong when I asked for their help
- Did not even identify a font created from a Word document
Summary
Does not do what it should. A real waste of money.

Pros
errr, it removed some money from my account and used an hour of my time
Cons
the download on CNET is out of date so once it is downloaded you will have to repeat the process to get the up to date app, then delete the previously installed app from your derive - it doesn't over write. You then have the trial version - this will not let you download a font to ID so pretty useless as a trial. When I had found the way to pay - not within the app, but you have to go to the website of Font Genius, to which they do not give you a link, I had to go back to CNET. Finally downloaded and paid then manage to select my writing in an image and after an hour and $40 "No Matches Found"
The selection process is not user friendly - once you made your initial selection area a box instantly appears asking what the selected text says. Fine if you have made the correct selection area, but if the selection is not correct it is incredibly frustrating to deep having to close and re define, every time you release the tool, the dialog box reappears
