Good program - can't upgrade.

Very useful to find and use various characters in a font, etc.
Cons
There is no way to pay for the product to get beyond the time limited demo!
Summary
Program is useless since you can't get anything but a limited demo. Why is this program even out there!?
Good, can't purchase license after demo time elapses.

Author removed website for Artistic Techworks and esellerate is not authorized to sell the product--AUTHOR DOES NOT MAINTAIN THE PRODUCT ON A WEBSITE! Why even offer this application on CNET?
Summary
I want to pay for the product after working with demo, but there is no place on the internet to pay for Font Examiner. I've written to support on this and got little help--told to just keep looking. What's keeping you from removing it from the CNET site?

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />Unable to resize window displaying fonts which makes them very small and unreadable. Also unable to get keystroke info for e.g. Zapf Dingbats (only way of getting a particular character from Zapf Dingbats is to copy+paste them individually into to e.g. Photoshop). Having to scroll ages to find the actual characters is an enormous waste of time, even though Glyph mode seems to help slightly. Still a wasted opportunity.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />This is an app to get, especially for graphic designers and anyone who loves type. The version 2.x is a great improvement over 1.x, and I especially l like the new "Glyph" view. Although it has gone from freeware to shareware, I think $10 is reasonable, considering how useful it has been to me over the years.
