• I get better support using free software

  no support only support i received was while I was paying for the service and only after requesting a full refund. Never worked properly SMS messages would not leave the platform. If they did and participants received, they would only receive a portion of it ignored repeated requests via e-mail and their forum for support

  Summary

  Worst platform I have ever used. I paid for the full version and have never been happy with the level of support they provide. It took months to receive the USB modem add-on and then when I received it, the USB modem they sent me was used and seemed to have been "refurbished" the acrylick paint on the modem made it look as if it was used. The program installation was straight forward, but getting it running was not. It never worked as advertised (the text to win never worked) and now I can't get anyone on the phone or on e-mail to support me. Horrible experience

• TERRIBLE SUPPORT -Do NOT use! Software is not reliable!

  Pros

  Great website, great looking presentation with 1Million users etc... They have a support option on their 1800 number, but then it says "for support please visit our website."

  Cons

  Software activation was challenging and not user friendly. Do not use this software! I have installed and and it has NEVER properly worked. Its been over a week since first install and it hasn't worked properly once with a Virtual Number. You call the 1800 number...get no one....email support and received virtually no response until I requested a full refund. Then they began responding... Use Pangolin instead! Works as promised and the team over there has been incredibly helpful!

  Use Pangolin SMS instead - Incredible customer support and amazing interface with many more options and features. Wish I would have found them first!

  Our patrons love the software and it keeps them interested. good way to communicate to your customers via bulk messages.

  Needs some work. The support also sucks! I think there are only 2 people that work for this company.

  They provide no help. The only reason I gave this software a 2 star rating is because of the entertainment it provides to our guests.

  great technical support, the staff were there for me from start to finish. It's sad you don't see that in many companies, but FireText's technical support was amazing.

  - A bit of a learning curb to learn the advanced features, but the manual is well documented and it's a easy software to the software up and running

  I agree with all the other testimonials, over all it's a cool product and neat to see everyone chatting, flirting and voting within the venue.

  - Totally made a big difference to the decor in our Venue. - Boss loves the ability to collect people's cell phone numbers - We used the automatic database and sent a bulk sms to our whole list and sold tons of new years tickets. - Great Price!

  Cons

  None what so ever!

  Summary

  I love this product completely!! My boss is a stickler but the FireText customer support was very helpful, answered all our questions, set us up with a demo and won us over! Great price too!

• Spectacular Experience in our Church!

  - Simple Setup - No Per Message Fee - Graphics are customizable to fit our church's logos - The Text Message Prayer to screen was soo cool that we have families and congregation members that own businesses sponsoring the FireText System for events

  Cons

  - NONE what so ever! Firetext Team really put in a lot of thought to make installation simple and quick. Very user friendly

  Wonderful addition to my church! I will running this for a long time!!

  - Engages my customers - Better then the Boring TV Shows or Random Swirls on the Screen - FireText can overlay over Shadow dancers or any video feed - Customizable screens allowed me to sell my TV Space to sponsors

  Cons

  - None! Besides 20 minutes of training my staff caught on pretty quickly. It has so many features that we soon realized it can be a full time job to interact with customers messages. We over came this by setting it in automatic mode.

  Summary

  I would highly recommend this product to every venue holding live events. It's a truly new interactive experience and the good thing is it works with every cell phone, which everybody has!!

  Pros

  All I have to say is that, it was the coolest sight to see everyone's cell phones in the air sending messages to my tv screens :)

  Cons

  I had to activate a cell phone for their pro suite, but once I got the motorola cell phone and connected it by USB cable it was pretty straight forward.

  Summary

  Fantastic Product, my customers got really into it and now I send Bulk Sms's to them letting them know about my upcoming events.
