FCharts SE is a free stock charting program which will import price data from a wide range of sources, displaying it as OHLC, Candlestick and Line charts. It has a number of built-in indicators (MACD, RSI, Exponential and Standard Moving Averages), or you can write your own with the inbuilt formula language and display them as standalone charts or overlays. You can draw trend lines with a few clicks of the mouse and print your charts in full colour or black and white.For stock screening, P&F charts, trade testing and many other advanced features, see FCharts PRO, the commercial version.

A free stock chart soft for drawing on todays data

Pros
You can draw lines, fibonnacci, squares, and write text on the charts. There's a volume chart. The EOD data come from Yahoo! Finance. You can get free today's quote from Yahoo!. It has Simple Moving Average and the Exponential one and Fibonnacci.
Cons
You can get (not free) real-time quote only if you have subscribed with StockQuote, MarketCast, QCollector (Mechtrading), or have an Excel, DDE link, or an ASCII file that streams real-time quote. Limit download up to 20 tickers only. Help not clear.
Summary
First-users may take time to be familiar with the program because the help file isn't clear and you may have difficulties to understand how to download historical data from Yahoo! and the today's one too. The volume measure isn't precise on axis.After a while to be familiar with the program, it's simple to draw or write on charts. You can get data directly from Yahoo! or import from somewhere else. The program is preconfigured for Australian stock. So by erasing the ".ax" extension from the url when downloading data, it will help...
