  Easy way to strip attachments off emails & so reduce size of mailbox without loosing correspondance. I create subfolders of my main folders called "Old" eg "Client 1 Old". And every three months or so I move emails older than 90 days into the old folders & then ezdetach the entire Old folder. I figure that by then I've either already saved the attachment to my hard drive or it was never that important anyway. Works a treat.

  Summary

  A solid tool which is highly useful in processing attachments in an unattended manner. I bought EZDetach for one application but quickly used it in a second one. Re: The multiple attachments comment in the "cons" section: Multiple attachments can result in so many processes when processing all files in a folder that the machine runs out of memory.
