This database application effectively stores and manages your coin collections, although it's lacking in security measures to protect your information.

EzCoin's interface is a bit crowded but still proves easy to use. It comes preloaded with numerous coins and an effective search tool. It's easy to find and add coins from the sample set to build your own collection. EzCoin stores a wide range of details, including physical dimensions and current market values, and it also supports images. You can view collection details in several ways, which makes it easy to track coin purchases and sales.

We were impressed by the number of reports available and the ability to customize them. The only thing EzCoin is missing is password protection or some way to prevent unauthorized access to your data. This flexible application offers enough features to satisfy the serious collector, but security-minded users might want some way to safeguard their collection information.

What’s new in version 2.0

Version 2.0 adds all 2014 USA coins and a COMPLETE re-write of the software with many new features including a new reporting system. Latest price updates included.

Best and simplest Coin Program I have found.

Extremely easy to use program and a mostly complete database for US & Canadian coins. Very fast entry of my collection was possible. I entered over 500 US coins in less than 1 hour. Easy learning curve (I also have their stamp program) Installation on Win 10 was a snap. Under 1 minute. Images are great and values are realistic. The reports I have run so far are tremendous. So much better than the other programs I was trying out Incredibly fast responses to all questions. Wow. What customer service.
Cons
I also collect coins of Macao. Would be nice if they did a file for that as well, but I know it's not the most popular country to collect (LOL). No complaints at all about the program itself.
Summary
If you are looking to inventory and value your coins or just need a value for insurance, this program fits the bill. It is really easy to use & I was up and running in minutes. Very fast entry of my collection & had immediate access to all sorts of reports that are quite easy to read. They are extremely responsive to any questions you ask and are very open to suggestions for improvements/additions. I would not hesitate to purchase Ezcoin. This is really very nice software at a very reasonable price. I plan on entering my Mom's US Coins collection for estate purposes next.

Easy to use and understand and on-line manual is very detailed and easy to follow. Quick response from the customer support for when questions were asked.

Summary
This program was purchased for a law enforcement agency in which a huge collection of coins were seized and forfeited (10-20,000 coins). In order to accurately catalog and inventory the coins, this software was purchased to obtain approximate values of the coins in the case. The customer support has been tremendous. When a special report was needed to accomodate the law enforement agency's needs, a customized report was created by the designers of the software which will save us many hours of work. Also, we were offered assistance with changing names of fields to accomodate the way we were inventoring the coins. This program would serve any one from the novice collector to the professional. Not only is the program good but the customer service and support that is provided is phenonemal !
By far the best coin collecting software out there.

Pros
I have tried a number of different software programs for managing my coin collection. This version is much better then anything else out there. It looks overwhelming at first, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes very intuitive. The database updates are great. Saves me from typing in all the pertinent data for every coin I enter. The reports are great, I can carry around my 'inventory/list' so I don't forgot what I have and buy duplicates by accident. The rest of the reporting is great, you can use all some or just one parameter to find items. When I get a new coin, I can put in a couple of items of info (like 2014) it will return every item from 2014 from the database, then just click on the item, enter my cost and grade and save. QED. One thing to note.. the editor complained about security with this product. Considering the database is proprietary and can only be opened by the program, which lives on your computer. I think the security is just fine.
Cons
The only issue I have is that I wish the search list could stay open while entering a new coin.

If you are looking for a no nonsense program to track your us and canadian coins, this is the perfect program for it. It`s complete, and up to date. You can`t ask for better customer service. They know the product and coins pretty well. I find the reports that come with it to be really, really useful. I was using another program, but the reporting was awful. This is truly a numismatic treat. great job & I will be back for more (they have a stamp program as well, but want to finish my coins first). Do not hesitate to buy this program. Worth the money Wayne

Very intuitive program to use. Had 50 coins entered in 15 minutes. Complete information for each coin & superb images are supplied,. Reporting is exceptional. Clear, concise reports . Uncluttered and very professional. Entering data is simple & fast. Everything you need to track your coins is here.

I inherited my aunts huge coin collection of US Morgan Dollars and Canadian Coins. Ezcoin has been a monumental help in assessing my collection. I am more than pleased with this product. This is a MUST have for anyone looking to track their coin collection. Works flawlessly on my new Windows 8.1 system. This is professional grade software. I have not needed any support, but I know that if I did, they would respond very quickly. I also have their stamp program & it works just as well. You can't go wrong with this company

Any time I have a problem or question, I get an answer back the very same day. This is unheard of in this day and age.
