Despite some minor omissions, this easy-to-use encryption utility provides all the necessary tools to handle basic encryption chores. EncryptDrop Free Edition's skinnable interface lets you conveniently drag and drop files directly into the queue. The program rapidly encrypts multiple files simultaneously and can encrypt folders, too. You can be confident your files are safe since it employs the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm, though it would be nice to have alternatives. EncryptDrop Free Edition draws out some other decent security measures. It can automatically erase originals or overwrite them after encryption, and, of course, it password-protects the encrypted files. The disappointment here is that the application itself isn't password-protected. We also wish it offered self-decryption in case you'd like to send locked files to other people. Although this freeware isn't exactly a powerhouse, it has enough going for it to be useful to a wide range of users.

simple but not the best encrypt softwear

just drag and drop your documents not files ! add a password simple
Cons
can't drag a file ; you have to keep a back up file as when you click on your documents you can't open it to do more work on the document in the file that's attached to it where it's all stored when you click is not password protected
