Make and maintain click-to-open or drop-down tree menus and include them in all your Web pages.

This freeware makes Javascript (DHTML) drop-down and click-to-open tree menus for Web pages. These tree menus work in all major and most minor browsers. The program is easy to use, and has many options. You can make a vertical or horizontal menu and place it anywhere on the page. You can select folder images, fonts, indents, and colors, and control almost every other feature of your menus as well. The visual interface and internal CSS and HTML editors allow you to quickly make changes to your web site. Advanced features include: insert HTML code anywhere in your menus, use javascript links in your menus, control the menu from your web-pages via a simple script language, write your DHTML menus from a database or from the hard disk on your server, easily write a menu that maps your entire hard-disk or Web site.

Version 5.0.28 supports Vista and include Create DotNetNuke menus.

Great in theory...

I could not get it to work on my standalone XP system.
Summary
I installed the software. While running through the tutorials and help, I could not get the sample html file the program generates to show any of the menus. I noticed what appeared to be an extra '/' in the error given by IE. I opened and manually edited out the '/' inserted before the javascript include file name. Once I did that, the basic functions worked fine. When I tried to add a javascript command to a menu item, I was getting errors of the same kind again. The problem was not such an easy fix, though, because I think it was the way the document was addressing itself??? I could find no help on line to resolve the problem. Too bad, this really looks like an excellent tool otherwise.

Pros
In general, this application offers many great shortcuts to get around having to type out so much redundant code for style sheets, HTML, and more - all to make an excellent tree (branching) menu.
Cons
While it is a good tool for novices, some beginners may find it difficult to navigate at first because the interface is at first confusing; however, the confusion fades as one uses it more and more.
