EMCO Remote Console for Windows

EMCO Remote Console is a free Remote Command-Line Prompt for Windows. Command prompt also known as CMD is an important tool for Windows administration. Using it you can run utilities and check system settings. For example, you can ping hosts to check a network connection or run ipconfig to detect network configuration. Standard Windows command prompt can't be accessed remotely and you have to use third-party tools to connect it from a remote PC. Telnet, SSH, remote desktop solutions have their well-known limitations, so EMCO Remote Console was designed as a free light-weight alternative for them to access a remote command prompt.

The application doesn't require any manual client installation or complex client setup, so it can be a light-weight alternative for Telnet, SSH and other remote consoles. It uses the same mechanism as PsExec tool, but provides UI and better support of interactive console features.
