Used Electronic Computer Tutor for Windows?
Editors’ Review
In the era of an easily-Googled Internet, this download feels a bit dated, but could nevertheless be helpful. It's essentially a compilation of technical support articles, aimed at teaching a novice user about the guts and operations of their PC, from printing problems to system files. As such, it feels a bit like a gigantic FAQ. The application itself probably isn't as convenient as an ordinary Web search. The font can't be resized, and characters are small, making it sometimes difficult to read. A helpful glossary of computer terms is included, but Search and some individual sections are disabled in the trial version.
If you're looking for a handy desktop resource, and don't have a computer guru around to help fix problems, this might be a good investment, although we'd advise many users to simply try the Internet first.
