This digital-clock application puts the time on your desktop, although we couldn't get its alarm features to work. EClock, which writes to your system tray, sports a basic interface that gives you two uninspiring skin choices for your desktop digital clock. You can set a second time, the zonal time, if you'd like to display another time zone or have another use for it. We did like the Deskpad feature for jotting down notes. Though EClock has an integrated alarm-setting option, we could not get it to work in numerous tests. Even if it did work, you could only set one alarm, which we're guessing would display your chosen message and sound a standard Windows bell alarm. This freeware, with its shortcomings, will only ring the bells of users just looking for a desktop digital display.
Good, small, digital clock for using a vertical taskbar
Pros
It takes up little space and can be kept on top of other programs so I turn off the taskbar clock and make it vertical and as skinny as the icons. When I did this with the taskbar clock turned on it was too wide.
Cons
so far none.

simple, Lite weight, yet useful...especially if you work in Global operations
Pros

Set a desktop digital clock with an integrated alarm and system-tray scratchpad. This is a simple Digital clock with an integrated alarm feature and a scratchpad for rough notes on the system tray (cool stuff). Supports dual time zones. The alarm also has a beep facility. However the current version uses the pc speaker.
