Developer’s Description

Keep files and folders in sync.
As the name points out, this is a sync tool. While setting up a sync profile, you can pick one of two sync types: sync a pair of folders or sync a folder in a VHD file. Once you completely set up the profile, launch the sync process and keep data in sync. Using Echosync is indeed as simple as setting up a profile and then launching the sync process!

Echosync is a portable application (you don't have to install it). Echosync is available in two languages: English and French. Launch Echosync on a French Windows version and the software will run in French. Launch Echosync on an English Windows version and the software will run in English. Right click anywhere on the application's interface and you will be presented with a context menu that, among other things, allows you to change the interface's language.

The Echosync interface is divided into two panels. The one at the top presents the profiles you created; the one at the bottom presents the results of a comparison and the results of a sync job. To create a new sync profile you must click the "New" button in the upper right hand corner of the interface and then you must enter the following info: pick a sync type (sync a pair of folders; sync a folder in a VHD file) enter a profile name, pick a source folder and a destination, enter an optional description.

Right click the profile you just created and you will be presented with a context menu that features the following entries: compare, sync, go to the source folder, go to the destination, change the source folder, change the destination, mount the VHD file, unmount the VHD file.
