• Messes up the screen and slows my machine.

  Pros

  Good looking ticker line, moves smoothly, easily change foreground/background colors, font size and scroll speed. Plenty of sources to pick from for the news feeds.

  Cons

  I keep my task bar at the top of my page, this program moved things on the task bar so they don't line up anymore. There is a definite 'flicker' effect. Didn't run a CPU use meter, but suspect this uses a lot of available cycle time.

  Summary

  When ever I have to start up, other then just wake it up, one of early moves is to disable this program. It might be a setting needs to be adjusted, but I haven't spent the time to figure it out. Wanted something kind of like the news ticker that was on my Earth-link toolbar. That one doesn't work well with the broadband and Windows 7 setup I have, so I don't run it. Was only using it for the news ticker, so I was looking to replace it. I "Might" take the time to try and figure out what is wrong, but then again, I might not. All in all, will probably uninstall this over the weekend.
