This basic educational tool can teach kids about primary colors, but its outdated design and limited features aren't very appealing. Easy Colors' simplistic interface includes three learning modules and a test mode for learning basic colors. The program requires a media player to have colors spoken aloud, although it would have been more helpful as a learning tool if the colors were spelled as well. In our tests, the learning modes seemed repetitive and weren't very engaging. Easy Colors lacks the polish offered in more comprehensive learning tools. Though it's free to parents, their youngsters will get bored quickly with this software.
