Sat track is a satellite tracking application. With Sat track you can find any satellite by positioning your mobile in the right direction of the sky. Sat track uses all available sensors to correctly set your mobile. In 3D mode the program shows satellites, moon, sun, planets and they orbits. In 2D mode program shows all satellites from selected two line element file, day, night areas. TLE data can be updated from URL every time you need it. In text mode the program shows all the important numbers related to the satellite movement. Additionally it provides information about delay, uplink and downlink important for amateur radio communication. Sat track can predict all satellite passes and additionally can calculate all Iridium flares visible from your location. It is very fast because it uses calculation engine from the famous SatCE program (www.nerdipedia.com). You can chose calculation engine between SxP4 and SxP8. SxP8 is slightly faster (15%). The most important is the sky mode which rotate in real time according to the mobile orientation in the space. There is also available old fashion style of the sky mode. For high accuracy of the azimuth you can use sun or moon position for ultrafine compass calibration. Just remember to be far away from any magnetic sources.
