• Great - but blank content bug needs fixing Nov 2012

  Pros

  I used this some years ago and it works - except for the bug reported above for Exchange 2010. Easy to install and use and free in basic version

  Cons

  Web site looks stale with very minimum layout. There are no instructions for installation with Exchange post Exchange 2003 (I think a receive connector has to be added). Poor response time to email query. There is an acknowledgement of the problem with Exchange 2010 on the site (which is apparently due to a third party component) but it is undated.

  Summary

  Once that bug is fixed or if you are using an earlier version of Exchange, an excellent product.

  Pros

  I use this software for over two years and have never had a mailfunction. The advanced function can start as a service, so my server can automaticly startup and shutdown.

  Cons

  It doesnt support IMAP (only POP3)

  Pros

  Set up is easy, configuration is easy, features are plentiful, and that's in the free version. Solved our problem completely. An excellent solution.

  Cons

  Cons- haven't found any yet. Considering I am testing the free version, the limitations are large enough to fully test the solution and many organisations would not need to upgrade to an Advanced version.

  Summary

  This is the most feature rich and powerful, free Pop3 connector that I have come across. The features available in the Advanced versions will make life a little easier and are well priced in terms of affordability.

  Pros

  Product works well, it's simple and the free version does everything I need except load automatically on Startup. The Pro version is cheap and I'm happy to pay for it.

  Cons

  I've paid for the product, buit haven't received the Key (as yet). The guy is a bit hard to get onto for a response.

• Professional way to grab email from pop3, re-address it to correct user,

  Pros

  EFS grabs everyone's email from a common pop3 account, figures out who the recipient is, addresses it accordingly, and passes it to Exchange, and it does a great job of it.

  I have just updated EFS to the latest version. We have been running it inhouse for about 2 years now, and also onsell to our clients. It takes 2 minutes to setup and works very reliably.
