• Doesn't play commercial blu rays.

  Pros

  Installs OK, Plays DVDs, Uninstalls OK from control panel.

  Cons

  I tried 3 retail blu ray disks and none played dispaying "encrypted disk" message.

  Summary

  Don't bother downloading if you want to play regular blu ray movies.

• Straight-up does not work with WinXP Pro.

  -- Didn't take long to install.

  Cons

  -- It doesn't work. -- I tested it against three different DVDs and it played none of them. The screen said "loading," then the "loading" would disappear, and the DVD would not play. I'd love to hear from the developers if they're available to try to work through the issue with me.

  pros it just works fantastic easy to navigate smooth video play back and it's free why pay 49.95 for a media player when this one will do it all. DvdRanger has it all great customer support no hidden fees and all of Dvdranger's software works great on windows 8pro RTM

  NONE I worked very hard to find any bugs this latest release is Great.

• Simple Easy To Use even for a novice

  Pros

  Very Simple Program Skin that allows you to set your settings with ease. I run Windows 8 Developers and Windows 7 84 Ultimate , I have never had and issue This Player plays smooothand clear, I have seen you need to Play Blu Ray on no less than the Min system they state

  I wish they had come out with this sooner

  Pros

  Very easy to use with perfect results EVERY TIME.This program will copy everything including 3D Blu Ray. I have used every DVD Copy software available &#38; NONE of them compare to the ease of use or the perfect copy results that you get with DVD Ranger. Do not waste your time or money on any other copy software, DVD Ranger is the best there is.

  I was able to uninatall it via Windows 7.

  Cons

  It makes for PCM with my Yamaha AVR. If it could sense and play back DTS, DD, Master and TrueHD, I'd run it.

• Questionable Software

  Pros

  Plays videos ok, not the greatest.

  Cons

  Once installed it doesn't let you uninstall it. Gives you some strange error and you cant uninstall thru windows either. Have to delete the whole folder to get rid of it.

  Summary

  Would not recommend, a program that doesn't want you to uninstall it in my view is questionable to use. Only one other review here and I'm not sure if that was a real user or not.

  Pros

  The FrameDoubler....this eature is awesome

  Cons

  Opens sometimes the video too big but I think they manage this fast.

  Summary

  DVD-Ranger Player is the best player I every see. It plays my Blu-ray images perfect, and with the Framedoubler the videos are smoother than smooth. I love it.
