Developer’s Description

Work with office documents on your Android device.
DocsWork is a great suite of programs for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations and pdf. It is based on Apache POI and LibreOffice so it is free to use. It is available in many languages and runs in the Android devices but with additional functionalities provided from our cloud servers. DocsWork supports a great number of file formats: LibreOffice's native file formats, which are OpenDocument (*.ODT, *.ODS, *.ODP, OTT, ODM). Standard Office formats (*.DOC, *.XLS, *.PPT, *.DOCX, *.XLSX, *.PPTX) that are used when building Excel, Word, PowerPoint files. Others: PDF, TXT, CWK, RTF, HTML, PDB, DXF, CSV, CDR, XML, EPS, GIF, PDF, BPN, JPG, SVG, WPD, XBM. DocsWork provides a document viewer that can use an internal conversion module for DOC and XLS files; or it can use a LibreOffice conversion module for all the format files mentioned above.

DocsWork can browse the whole list of files located in the Android device. DocsWork can search for any document located in the Android device. The search is categorized by document type. DocsWork provides a text editor to create txt files. The texts included in Word, Spreadsheets and Presentations can also be exported to be manipulated by this module. DocsWork can export and share any document with any app. DocsWork can be opened from any other app. DocsWork will open automatically the document shared by other app. DocsWork inherits functionalities from LibreOffice, which is a free and open source office suite, developed by The Document Foundation. It comes from OpenOffice.org in 2010, which was an open-sourced version of the earlier StarOffice. The LibreOffice suite comprises programs for word processing, the creation and editing of spreadsheets, slideshows, diagrams and drawings, working with databases, and composing mathematical formulae. It is available in 110 languages. LibreOffice uses the international ISO/IEC standard OpenDocument file format as its native format to save documents for all of its applications (as do its OpenOffice.org cousins Apache OpenOffice and NeoOffice).
