  Dunno, doesn't work.

  I made the mistake of purchasing this program couple years back. If you format your computer or update you OS you have to have your key re-initialized. I emailed them weekly for the past two months with no answer. Uninstalled, redownloaded and reainstalled and it seems their server is down and apparently they no longer support this program.

  • Works perfectly on my 4 year old Dell PC w/Windows XP. • Works perfectly on my new Lenovo notebook PC w/Windows 7. • NO background noise what-so-ever. • Twenty seconds is more than enough "ringtime" for me.

  Want the "Swiss Knife" of Ringtone software?? ... DJ ToneXpress is IT! I'm a total klutz, but was able to download my favorite song, and create the EXACT ringtone I wanted for my iPhone4 - and in just minutes!! After choosing an appropriate sound file, all you have to do is take the time to READ the instructions FIRST! Have handy the exact make and model of the phone that the ringtone will be installed on, along with the name of the wireless carrier! ... then click, click, click, and PRESTO! Finally, just install the ringtone on your phone via your iTunes software, or whatever portal your phone uses. I have seen ads on TV offering monthy ringtone subscriptions at BIG dollars per month! ... or ... you can purchase DJ Tone Express for about the same cost of ONE MONTH'S subscription, and create ringtones yourself out the wazoo! EVEN IF I NEVER CREATE ANOTHER RINGTONE, this software was worth the price to get the ringtone that I wanted! With DJ ToneXpress, you can also create wallpaper, create "tones" for your PC (I made some cool "profanity" error tones), and a "Song Downloader"! Not enough? ... This software even offers "cloud" storage space, so you can store all the files you create! Awesome!

  Nice features. Great package idea. Not expensive.

  Not all the features work. If you try to contact their support, you will be in for a long wait. Claim is support answer in 24 hrs, make that 2 weeks if they respond at all. Blue tooth does not work correctly. Neither does the WAP to download a wallpaper to the phone. Not sure if the WAP feature works as it cannot be tested. In fact a lot of stuff cannot be tested. You are buying a pig in a poke you will pay for it but it will not function correctly that and poor support makes it for a bad buy.

  Summary

  Nice in theory, but FAILS to work correctly. Don't waste your time and money. All the features should work and should be testable. As it is I do not know if there are other features that do not work as they cannot be tested. Stay away.

  Summary

  If your willing to pay 10 bucks to turn your own music into ringtones then go head. If not then don't even bother downloading this, its only 20 sec. ringtones and it you use the trial version you get and annoying beeping noise in the background, as they say "to remind you that's its only a trial version". So don't even waste time downloading this horrible program.

  + it works as described + super easy to make ringtones from my own songs + i can make ringtones for friends + truly unlimited + no "catches" or scam element

  - honestly have not found any yet (which is why i wanted to write this review)

  Summary

  over all this is a simple to use app that does what it says and probably is a bit modest since i am so happy that it works the way it says and so often such software does not. there are no ads or other distracting or "cheap" elements to it. i have already made over 10 ringtones for myself and more for friends based on what i think they would like. CNETs recommendation was helpful in deciding too.

  Twice downloaded this program with much anticipation. Tried to get it to connect to the web several times. Every other program on my computer could connect to the web but not this crappy program. Outta here !
