Summary
I bought Get Data Back and recovered everything perfectly. Their people pride themselves on their EULA that says they're not promising anything and don't back their own product. It's useless. Don't waste your money on this product. It was the worst peice of software I've ever paid for and the customer service is just as bad, if not worse.

Summary
I've tried several other software t recover my really important files, I have lost all my .wav when I tried to resize that partition.
After scanning of the physical hard drive of what could be recovered, I found there is another cheaper software that recognize all my lost files, but when I tried to preview those files, they are all corrupted. Those files recognized by NTFS Recovery are all good and play as their original state, I'm pleased with what this software done for me and save my life to recover those really important files
Not worth the money

Pros
Cons
Don't waste your money on this product. After trying the demo, and starting a scan, it looked like it was going to do a fine job, so I purchased the full product and let it run. Well over an hour into the scan, it hung Vista. Tried again with same result. Support was only via email, and they didn't get back to me until the next day. By then, I had already purchased Active@ Partition recovery, which is less than half the price, and recovers many more partition types. It worked like a champ.<p>Diskinternals refused my request for a refund, and quoted their EULA as follows:<p>4. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY.<p>THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD "AS IS"<p>AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE OR MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.<p>YOU USE THE SOFTWARE AT YOUR OWN RISK.<p>Perhaps they have the right to do that, but as far as I am concerned, that is not the type of company I want to do business with. Spend (less of) your money elsewhere!
