  Pros

  Very fast disk cloning.

  Cons

  This utility is farught with disappointment. Sometimes it works and sometimes it's a wing and a prayer. There are so many variables which usually equate to errors. Most common problem is that it tells you the cloning is complteted when it hasn't even begun and there is nothing you can do about it. I have just downloaded the latest version 13 and cannot install it because it says I must have at least one seagate disk. I have two. So I am stuck with having to use an earlier version even though they insist we use the most recent one. Also, just look at their download page. There is no indication what version you are downloading so you have to fully download it to find out if it is newer than the one you already have.

  Summary

  I have used this program for the past six or seven years and often in desperation only because it is fast when you are able to get it working. If their drives were as bad as their software, computers would never have got off the ground.

• FREE TO USE WITH SEAGATE HDD

  Pros

  BEST, fact effective and efficient software, OEM version of Acronis True Image, cuts the bull off the full version, did I say it way free

  Cons

  None silch

  Summary

  install the software, create iso for a bootable cd, boot from cd to create backup images and restore from those images if required. Works wonders, else download from Seagate website
