• No way to change sort output

  Pros

  Pros: The ability to copy-and-paste from the preview pane. This feature available in DirLister and Directory List and Print spares me the trouble of saving/opening yet another file, allowing me to paste right into a pre-formatted Word document. No startup screen. No install required.

  Cons

  Cons: Unnatural sort order of alphanumeric filenames. Although ascending order was chosen, DirLister placed p196 before p1. Directory List and Print got this right and sorted placed p1 to p9 ahead be p10. Crashes when trying to select-copy-paste with the "File Number" box checked.

  Summary

  I've tried DirLister, Directory List and Print (limited ver.), and Karen's Directory Printer. Fuss-free and easy-to-use.

  Pros

  simple in use. Lots of possibilities in making lists. Lots of options to costomize as I will. My mp3 collection is much clearer now.

  I got no negative to say about it.

  I can add tracklists to my mp3 compilations where and when I will in a very quick way without problem. Very usefull for me. thanks

  Pros

  You select the source, the output file type and location, the data in the list. This is very useful when using filenames to populate spreadsheets.

  Cons

  I don't like installing software on my desktop, but I can work around that.

  Summary

  The price is right, the interface is plain and to the point. Decisions are not made for you by the developer. You choose from what I see as the most popular output options. I highly recommend this VERY useful application.

  Display directory and file names and details on each. I can customize the display options.

  Cons

  None as yet.

  Summary

  It has extensive options to customize for the output. There is a preview tab that easily allows you to see what will be outputted before you save the files. It can output/save to txt, html and csv. It can display directory and file names and details on each. This is very useful when you need to know which files are stored in a specific directory etc.

  Had problem searching through folder structure and stopped. Should have logged error and continued searching through folders
