MySecretFolder password-protects and hides folders on Windows. It's aimed at users needing basic privacy for sensitive files. You can create subfolders for more granular control.

  • Pros

    • Simple password protection for folders. | Folders can be hidden entirely from view. | Includes password recovery in case you forget it. | Can block registry access to prevent bypassing the protection.

  • Cons

    • Only protects entire folders, not individual files. | Feels a bit dated compared to built-in Windows features. | The UI is... not exactly inspiring. | Why can't I password-protect individual files?
