Print any document directly to a PACS, send to Film, or generate a DICOMDIR CD.
DICOM Printer permits the user to print any document directly to a PACS server or a DICOM film printer, or write a DICOM CD; this DICOM-enables most legacy devices that would normally have to be replaced. Just print to the DICOM Printer and your document appears in a queue. Then, from within the DICOM Printer, enter relevant information or perform a Worklist/Study search against your PACS to automatically retrieve patient data. Click 'Send' to transmit your document to PACS, 'Print' to send to your DICOM film pinter, or 'DICOM CD' to generate a DICOM-compliant DICOMDIR CD. Recommended uses: addition of DICOM capability to legacy medical devices, printing from OS to a DICOM-compliant printer, submission of documents (Excel, Word) to PACS, creation of central networked workstation where DICOM print jobs are confirmed and submitted to PACS, Film, or DICOMDIR CD.
