  Couldn't discover 2 devices, even though they showed up on BlueSoleil's application. Couldn't enter "England" as my country because it kept asking for a state. Online help is still under construction. Crashed when exiting (Win7) User interface too gimmicky.

  - Avast found a possible virus on the uninstaller "C:\Windows\BFT Uninstaller.exe" - This software crashes under Windows 7 when quitting. - Bad interface

  I think WCL Phone Explorer is a much better freeware alternative

• Bluetooth File Transfer works great!

  Pros

  The program is free and works well. Easy image and mp3 file transfer between my PC and my Samsung R355c cell phone. The phone does not have to be a smart phone for this program to work just have Bluetooth and files that can be transferred. Just buy a Bluetooth adapter for your PC from eBay for two bucks and your ready to go. The program indicates success or failure for the status of the file transfer. I found out file transfers fail if you do not approve the transfer on the cell phone when they are about to start.

  Pros

  Very easy interface. Performance what it says, you can explore files on your mobile or PC and transfer files from PC to mobile, or from mobile to PC. Two way transfer is really nice. It automatically connects to bluetooth device trying default pin.

  Cons

  It kinda hangs while transferring the file. (But once transfer is completed, it comes back.)

  Free. Bi-directional. Quiet. Simple. Works great.

  Cons

  Quiet (too quiet ;)... no 'progress' indicator? Simple, only 'hover text', no button labels. Appears to be marketing tool... 2 banners, top/bottom (not bad though) advertising toolmaker's 'opt-in' bluetooth marketing broadcaster (interesting, cheap).

  Summary

  One of only two Bluetooth multi-transfer tools that I could find (other is $1.95). This tool works well, but has quirks. Using on Vista 32bit HmPrem... I had a backlog of files in my cell... selected files, started xfer... and got "not responding' indicator, but files -were- being xferred. There was NO progress indicator, however the program window didn't redraw partially, from showing me the 'browse files' popup... had to use Windows Explorer to see transfer files appearing in destination folder. When complete, the program returned, with the message '...completed!', and showed status of each file xfer. The program's window is 'spiffy', but simple buttons have no labels, only 'hover text'... (detect device, to, from, exit... and smaller - donate, help, video tutorials, choose language... and two larger banner/links). The top banner seem to advertise a bluetooth broadcasting marketing tool... and the bottom banner says "your advertisement here...". For the problem it solves (multi-file bluetooth transfers), and even with minor quirks, I think it works great and recommend it. Single file tranfer is just too lame. Digressing... the bluetooth broadcaster that is advertised requests an ok from bluetooth users before it will display advertising... the request itself may be an annoyance, but hopefully that will 'timeout' or disappear as you move out of range of the broadcaster... (you can, probably should, turn bluetooth off, when 'on the go'). I thought it might be interesting as a 'novelty' at parties ;)... even though I hate spam with a bitter passion. Could broadcast non-marketing messages... ok, I'll stop now before I promote spamming... oops. Oh well.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Nov 15, 2009<p/>Ok... there -is- progress indication... the files show up in the lower 'status' window as they're transferred (apparently)... but as I said the program window went into 'not responding' and didn't redraw properly... so I couldn't see the status... but... it worked/transferred files... and in the end, showed all status info, when the program window finally did redraw. (Maybe I can use a compatibility mode or admin or something.) The 'video' tutorials (screenshots) are in Brazilian (Portuguese?).
