It's supposed to be MORE than one tool, not just a one-click tool. It's supposed to find duplicate files. When you try to set it up to do so, you just get error messages in weirdly accented letters.

Very basic. No bells and whistles. Gets the job done and that's all you can really ask for with freeware. If it doesn't work for you, maybe you're too busy looking for instructions, which are not there. You just have to figure it out. It's called one-click...duh!!! Click the button and when it's done click the "Clean" button and it will remove all your registry errors, hidden temp files, wrong shortcuts and more...

After 10 different test, I found that this software can't perform as advertised! It can not find duplicate shortcuts on the desktop, so with that in my mind, if for some reason you can get it to complete a scan, I would be careful of deleting what it does find. <p>Furthermore, this is an EXTREME resource hog! I averaged 85% - 95% CPU usage while this was running on my machine. I can't address any adverse effects with my machine, but I would be careful nonetheless ! <p>If you are looking for an utility to remove <p>duplicate files, I can't suggest any software of a free nature to serve your purpose, but I will not suggest one that can't even find duplicate shortcut on the desktop.

Dedaulus System Cleaner (DSC) is the small utility, not needed to install, that helps you to clean your PC from various garbage. DSC allows to clean temp folders and cache/history/cookies of Web browsers (Internet Explorer, Opera 8-9, Firefox 1.5-2.0). DSC also allows to organize search of temporary files of other programs, using special masks (you can edit them at own discretion), search of bad shortcuts, search of empty folders, search of duplicates, and search of registry errors. Version 1.6.25 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
