• Works OK for some common karaoke renaming tasks

  Pros

  -Can automatically swap positions of Artist and Title, move disc/song number to beginning of file name, remove those annoying underscore characters from file names

  Cons

  -No visual interface of the changes that you are about to apply -No undo function (your changes are permanent) -No ability to create custom rules

  Summary

  The tool is OK for the few functions I mentioned in the Pros section. To really have a complete tool for manipulating file names, especially karaoke file names, I recommend you use Debs Karaoke Renamer tool along with another tool called VisualRenamer. That VisualRenamer is a shareware product and costs $24.95 to register, but it has some nifty custom rules creation AND a very VISUAL interface so you see the changes you're about to make.

  Pros

  This program is an easy way to rename multiple files all at once. It is a major time saver. The renamed files are easy to read and therefore much easier to find.

  Cons

  I wish it would rename the files inside of zipped folders, not just the name of the folder.

  you can clean i whole drive with this program and if you need to change artist and song nothing to it with this program fastest running one ive ever seen and I have tryed meny thru the years with cdg files you will love it thanks deb for the previlige of using it

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I love this renamer. It renames files faster than anything else I've ever tried. You can rename hundreds of files at once. Would definetly pay for it if it weren't freeware.
