I cannot give up the data in the corrupt DBX file. So i searched a lot for restoring the inside data. And luckily, i found this amazing tool.

I don't know that there are how many people still use Outlook Express. And I was one of the old users. When I find that the DBX file is corrupt, I'm so worried about the repair work due to lack of experience. I search the internet and find this tool. And fortunately, the problem can be worked out.

Pros
I may be the a few users who still using old Outlook Express. I try to compact my folders but OE crashes. With this tool, I was able to recover all my emails completely.

Nowadays although most of my friends do not use Outlook Express any more, I still like the good old days and use it. Today suddently all my emails disappear after a compact operation on the Inbox. With the helps of Outlook Express repair, I was able to recover all my emails back. The results are exciting.

One of my important .dbx files were restored

But tool couldn't repair the rest of corrupted oe .dbx files.
Summary
I had 25 .dbx files corrupted by a virus. It could restore only 1. It's very bad result. Moreover as you see you pay only for restoration one file.
Didn't pay. Trial said I already did all possible.

Pros
Be sure to use the trial 1st. Almost didn't. Had already used Carbonite backup, but was advised to try a DBX repair search to see if more was possible. Unfortunately it wasn't. Fortunately I didn't have to pay to learn this. (Unlike Microsloth's paid "help.")
Cons
Sometimes you just have to accept loss. Could pay several hundred dollars, I'm told, for recovery, but Carbonite's recovery of what wasn't corrupt in my email was better than not getting anything.
Summary
Was told in Microsoft Users Forum to back up first, but not told how. (Erroneously presumed Carbonite would be sufficient.) There are limits to recovery. Lessons learned include my moving on to Eudora, now an open source program. OE came with my XP & I made the mistake of not dropping it & returning to the free version of Eudora back then. I'm happily adjusting to its latest edition with what remains of several years of email storage.
