This utility offers a quick, hassle-free way to fix Registry errors, but it lacks some important features. DaRO Registry Fixer 2006 has a straightforward, wizard-like interface, which is novice friendly, but feature poor. As with similar applications, it quickly scans the Windows Registry for invalid custom controls, software locations, window fonts, missing start-up programs, and a few other common errors. Problems are displayed by error type with a brief description of the error and the entry location. You can deselect errors to force the program to not delete the error entry. When you choose Repair, the program automatically creates a backup of your Registry before it continues the repair process. This is an important security option in case repair causes your system to destabilize. You must use the program to manage and implement the Registry backups, which may not be possible if your system has crashed. However, DaRO Registry Fixer fails to explain the common errors. This utility also does not offer the option to save the errors to a text file for later study. Novices will find this utility easy to use, but it doesn't offer enough protection against accidental deletion of important Registry keys. More advanced users will find this application doesn't offer as much as other Registry fixers.
