  Pros

  I was looking for a pdf creator that is able to create pdf files in high quality. This does the job because you can adjust the dpi. And it's easy to use.

  Cons

  Puts the output files in a folder on the desktop. Not a big problem for me...

  Summary

  Great tool if the graphics quality of the regular "create pdf" function on your mac is not sufficient.

  Pros

  it works and little to simple for my needs

  Cons

  At first look I cant figure out how to customize where I want to save the file. I tried this because MACs installed PDF app make the files rather large. Im looking for something like what I use on my PC (pdf995) best thing out there in PC world.

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I actually have the Adobe Acrobat Pro printer driver, but for some reason I can't get it to work right. I can't be bother to spend a fourth of a day figuring it out. This works great and it's free. The only problem I have with it is how it changes the name of the file that I'm printing when it makes the pdf. It puts underscores "_" where spaces should be. (i.e. BellSouth Building now becomes _BellSouth_Building_.pdf)

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />No problems, just nice little PDF files in my cups-pdf folder on my desktop. I know you can save as PDF from the Print dialog, but using cups-pdf lets me just do command-P return without having to find a save point and set the name.

Indeed it's much easier just to klick OK instead of choosing a menu, select a folder/name and then save the file. It would be great if there was a possibility to save PostScript files the same way. Do you think that can be done?
