Play a Western variant of Japanese chess.
One set includes a wooden or vinyl board of 8 x 8 monochromatic squares, 18 white and 18 black cubes, which have the chess pieces, where the six faces of each cube display a different piece {pawn, knight, bishop, rook, general, and king}. This provides an efficient means {rotating the cube on a square} to change a type of the piece. In contrast with a traditional japanese chess are eliminated four pieces in one army, A promotion is notoptional, but mandatory, demotion is eliminated. A mechanism of the capture is an atypicalcombination of shogi and chess capturing that changes during a game and reduce thefactor of the reincarnation captured units back to a board, simultaneous rotation of two cubes allowes a virtual change of the units and color, pieces dropped from the stack on the board are active promoted immediately. All these factors accelerate game.
