• Excellent product with great support

  Pros

  I've been using the Pro version for several months. I use it for designing email campaigns in HTML using inline CSS. Very responsive technical support.

  Cons

  None that I can think of.

  Summary

  The old free W3C Validator somehow got worse and worse, and now commonly misses obvious HTML errors, so I went looking for something better. Now that I've discovered CSE HTML Validator Pro, I would find it hard to live without it. Invaluable for code cleanup and validation. And the product's support forum is quite helpful.

  Pros

  Excellent tool that allows you to Validate your markup. The built in editor is one of the best I have worked with.

  Summary

  When there was an issue transferring an old licence, help support sent numerous emails back and forth until the problem was resolve. Where other companies would have sent automated responses, this product had real support. I highly recommend this product.

  Pros

  Fast validation of web pages.

  Cons

  None found.

  Summary

  I've been using this validation software for 10 years or more and used it on 200 websites that I've built. Great product. I primarily use a text editor for all my coding and then run the validation when the site is nearing completion. Saves huge amounts of time when something in the code goes wrong, quickly find and correct all sorts of coding errors.

  Pros

  This program finds errors that even W3C site misses. It also explains warnings and options far beyond error analysis. Errors are color coded for easy identification with excellent explanations. I don't know how I ever lived without it.

  Cons

  I can't find any. The program is superior to anything else out there.

  Summary

  I've been writing HTML for 15 years and thought I knew everything about the various versions and CSS, yet when I submitted a well-written site for assessment, this program found many areas for improvement. Discovering this program is like discovering gold. All developers who write their own code need this - and people using WYSIWYG editors should have it to assess the quality of code that is being created. I hadn't tested the program for more than an hour and knew I had to have it.

  As a student of web sites and HTML (hobby) I like HTML Valitdator as a learning tool. And use it on sites I do for historical socities I belong to. It is very helful.

  No cons as of now.

  Pros

  Always Up-to-date & current, easily validates all your web pages & websites, kiss errors goodbyes, (suggestions for syntax and attributes as well...) I use it to write and manage all of my web pages and websites !

  Pros

  I have used CSE HTML Validator for quite a few years now & find it irreplaceable for the many webpages I build from scratch. I am a self taught webmaster, but keep up to date with new HTML skills using CHS HTML Validator. They are the best!

  Cons

  I have not found any drawbacks using CSE HTML Validator

  Easy to use, checks html very well and allows easy editing of your files to correct mistakes. It is also very fast!

• Powerful Yet Easy to Use

  Pros

  Great validation. Very configurable. I use the batch mode to generate reports for my students. Nice error messages. Nice ability to use HTML Tidy to clean up code.

  Cons

  Would like to see code completion feature rather than having to select menu items in the editor.

  Summary

  I used the free version for years. Upgraded to the professional version and am very happy with it. Provides great feedback for novice users. Just downloaded version 10. Hope it's as good. Should be if the company continues its attention to detail and features.
