Tired of the continual Internet cookie assault? Take control with this little Firefox utility.

CS Lite is a free utility that loads an icon a small red ball--to Firefox's status bar. The icon and its associated menu were easy to understand and simple to use. When we visited a site that uses cookies, the ball glowed. Clicking the icon popped up a menu with several options, including Deny Cookies Globally, Block Current Site, Allow Current Site, Allow Current Site for Session, and Temporarily Allow Current Site.

CS Lite got the job done and was easy to use. It's a freeware that can give novice users a sense of control when surfing the Web.

What’s new in version 1.4.8

Version 1.4.8 fixes a bug to fail in when i change an exception of Cookie in 10 Last Hosts.

Control your cookie permissions easily from your statusbar.

CS Lite lets you to easily control cookie permissions. It will appear on your statusbar. Just click on the icon to allow, block, or temporarily allow the site to set cookies. You can also view or clear the cookies and exceptions by right clicking on the statusbar icon. For safer browsing you may choose to deny cookies globally and then enable them on a per site basis.
