Editors’ Review
Keeping dates and times straight is a necessity in today's overbooked world. Cotton Calendar claims to be a dynamic program to help users get themselves organized, but it falls flat on nearly every promise it makes.
This program looks about as simple as a calendar can. It features a small month-view calendar with some simple buttons along the top. Users can cycle through the months and year by using these buttons, but they are very confusing. The monthly view of the calendar is disappointing because users cannot intuitively click on a day and add a note. While we acknowledge that the schedule feature is disabled during the trial, we were disappointed to find that not even the sample schedules appeared on the calendar. We chose to look at Birthdays and Holidays, but none showed up. We had to actually look at a separate screen for this information.
Cotton Calendar is fraught with inconsistencies and dead ends like the ones mentioned above. There are dozens of calendar downloads available, many of which allow you to keep a schedule and remind yourself of dates. Because we couldn't access the schedule feature, ultimately, use the program for what it was intended, we do not recommend this download for anyone.
