Efficient Man's Organizer Free Portable breaks down this way: it's an efficient personal organizer designed for men that's totally portable and totally free. Portability is a key asset in a personal manager since a tool that's chained to your desktop obviously can't keep up with you when you're not at your desk. Efficient Man's Organizer is compact enough to run from a wide range of storage media and portable devices, yet it still offers a full set of features.

We extracted the compressed download of Efficient Man's Organizer and saved it to our portable applications folder. As portable freeware, it runs as soon as you click its program file, with no local installation required. It is indeed an efficient, well-organized tool that is based around Events, Tasks, and a Diary as well as the typical Calendar, Contacts, and Notes entries, all controlled from a navigation sidebar. Clicking any of these entries opened its interface in the main view; adding new entries in each was a simple matter of pressing a button and entering our time, task, and other data and variables in an easy-to-configure pop-up. Tabs let us attach files and notes as well as select intervals for recurring events. The Tasks feature is almost identical to Events and seems to be designed to let the user create his own distinctions based on personal preferences or needs. This program has some nice extras, such as a password generator and the ability to import holidays, diary entries, and other data.

We found Efficient Man's Organizer Free Portable to be a competent, well-designed personal organizer with all the scheduling tools and reminders busy people need to stay organized, with the added advantage of total portability and the decided appeal of freeware. We're not sure what makes it specifically manly, other than the holiday reminder, which some might consider badly needed. To our eyes, it seemed an efficient, businesslike organizational tool suitable for anyone. The app's sun-face logo might actually put some men off a bit, or at least raise quizzical eyebrows, but the tool itself is well worth a look.

Pros
I'm female but chose the men's because the female version is pink - I hate pink. This is major easy to use, does damned near anything you can imagine an organizer doing. The part I like the most is that is really IS organized --- all in order -- from point A to point B. Start at the beginning, follow it through, and you have your whole day in perfect order --- and you know what to expect immedaitely over the following days. Adding, editing, deleting, and completing is a breeze! The color-coding of events is very nice --- makes those doctor appointments and important events easily recognizable.
Cons
In such a health conscience world the addition of a dietary dairy, exercise and weight record - life factor type stuff -- would have put this organizer WAY over the top in management orgaizers, it has everything else, might as well. A printable organized shopping/grocery list would have put this app over the top also. What this app has is GREAT, but it could be greatly improved with minor additions.
Summary
My computer passed away the other day and I had to purchase a new one. Reloading for two days now. I've been searching for over an hour for an organizer to replace this one and haven't found a better one yet. I have used this one for several years now.

The icons look in 16-bit color and bring down the whole program because of it. They are very choppy. Also the interface is very old Windows XP-ish. I wouldn't mind if it looked less like XP and more like office 2007 or office 2010 even.
Summary
good program. haven't ran into any problems yet. The programs Icon is a little weird. And the icons in the application are down-right choppy (I'm looking at the program from a 1080p monitor and thus I can see ugly really well). Still I will use it.

I have yet to find any scheduler that can be set to "every first and third Sunday" or "every fourth Saturday" and the like.

Cannot find or use "the built-in one-click search similar to Google" unless it means JUST in this program. I thought it meant a search of my entire computer.

The one liner says it all. There are a few features but nt many requiring upgrading to their pro version. Yet the total free package is more lofty and nicer than any others and is also very useful.
Cons
I don't have any because it is free and I have not used it very long. I may find some but it doesn't appear so.
