Messed my laptop up during uninstall

Pros
Never got it to work.
Cons
I couldn't sign in so after a week of messing with it I uninstalled it. Next start up the shut down box would appear and never go. After playing around I got 'can not find file ....\child safeguard\captionblacklist.db' I couldn't fix it so I had to system restore which did the trick.
Summary
Didn't work and left a footprint.
