Check ID reads "PDF417" barcodes, commonly found on the back of driver licenses and government-issued identification cards.No internet connection is required!Check ID works without a data connection.No data from scanned barcodes is saved or transmitted to any another computer. No analytics are collected at all.The app will display the following fields from an identification card if available: name, date of birth, age, gender, hair color, eye color, height, weight, expiration date, and address information.Check ID 1.5 adds a Guest List feature. Guest Lists can be created ahead of time from the Options screen, or you can assign a guest to a list after scanning their ID.The "Minimum Age" setting is user-configurable. The app will alert you when it sees a date of birth above or below the "Minimum Age".***Please note: Check ID does not work well with the iPad 2's camera. A higher resolution camera is needed to read PDF 417 barcodes. ***
