Cashbook Complete Accounting can help manage your company's finances. It can handle most any bookkeeping task. It will manage incoming and outgoing expenses, employee timesheets, list of contacts, and invoices for projects and jobs. You can also use it to run and print invoices, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports, and e-mail them to your customers or export them to financial-planning software. It will manage your company's bank accounts and even import data from your bank. There's a built-in backup utility, too.

Cashbook Complete Accounting is a good accounting solution for small- to medium-size companies. The interface is easy to navigate and user friendly. Those who have used accounting software such as Quick Books and Quicken will have no problems using Cashbook Complete Accounting. For users new to accounting software, the Help file contains all the information you need to get up and running quickly. You can also run a setup wizard that will walk you through the process of getting started. For more help, the program's complete instruction manual is available by clicking the Miscellaneous tab.

This is a 90-day trial version of the software. When you install it, Cashbook Complete Accounting adds an icon to the desktop without asking, but it uninstalls completely with no problems, should you opt not to keep using it. Cashbook Complete Accounting is a good, affordable bookkeeping solution for small business owners.

Easy to use. A few Quirks. Very good value.

Pros
Very easy to use. Almost(!) intuitive. Very good GST/VAT reporting system. Easy to produce end of year reports for your accountant. In expensive to buy. Help screens seem to cover must functions well enough. You can keep time sheets and produce invoices directly from them.
Cons
It as a few quirks, but nothing major at the price. Some functions are only available from drop down menus and not the screen menus, so you have to learn where to look for them. Disbursements have to be entered into project or job cost records net of tax, which you have to calculate first.

Pros
Easy to use and generally well designed. Omits all those geeky procedures that are often found in accounting software and only trained accountants can understand. A really nice GST 101 report for New Zealand customers - the best out there.
Cons
A little DOS-like (old and spartan) in its appearance. But what happened to the unlimited free trial period? That's why I use it. However, my copy expired and it would not let me access my own data! Luckily I had a hard copy of all my transactions and I was able to enter them all into another accounting product - yes I certainly was not going to purchase Cashbook Complete after this experience. (I also found that I could break into the underlying files [they're in .mdb format] containing my own data using Microsoft Access).

After four years, I kept getting a message to upgrade. I didn't need the upgrade. Only way to contact company is thru email. After several emails back & forth(to no avail), program locked up and wouldn't let me access any info.
