This free utility has one primary focus, to let you change the Caps Lock key functionality, but as simple a task as it sounds, it did not work for us.
When installed, Caps Lock Changer adds a shortcut to your taskbar and to your desktop, although the desktop shortcut failed to conjure up the program when we clicked on it. When we double-clicked on the taskbar icon, a small, slender window appeared. The interface basically consists of a drop-down menu that contains a long list of Caps Lock button alternatives, such as your Enter button, Backspace, and Delete. We first selected the Backspace option, but after clicking the Apply button, nothing changed. Subsequent tests using other button alternatives revealed the same results.
Caps Lock Changer had to be manually uninstalled from our PC, but even then, it left an empty file in our program files. Luckily, we were able to delete it. Thanks to its poor performance, we can't give it our seal of approval.
