• Game look good if I could make it work

  Game look good , I did play it in 2007-8 on PC that playing on the Lap top against computer, because at times I have no Internet access

  I could not make it run on Lap top , running Vista and it is updated regularly and I.E. 9, and I have Firefox to . I did try to down load game from few different places and down loaded version 12 , 19 , 26 all seem the same, one hand if I'm lucky

  Very loud noise, very difficult to follow because of the graphics, very difficult to understand game play. Wanted to give it 0 stars.

  You cannot play this game off-line. Anytime this game is accessed, a browser is opened and you are taken to their website. Okay so they didn't install "spyware" but this is still a form of spying in my book.

  Summary

  Just looking for a nice game to play on the computer WITHOUT having to connect to the internet and without having someone watch what you are doing? Not this one! Sometimes I just like to play a game without reason and without someone watching everything I do and when I do it. I just wanted a nice game I could choose to play off-line. Even when installing and uninstalling, an internet connection event occurs! No thanks!!!

  i like the table set-up and diff. types of the game canasta played

  way to many errors and getting discconetted the people are and sometimes we have a hard time getting back--and at times we can not get back in to site. Seems as if Thomas just does not care to take care of site--it is getting worse since he has asked the people to pay--to be able to set a table up to play--site has gotten smaller since then and all the errors. Site does not listen 2 the people--alway say it is us--know at times it can not be helped--but all the same to so many people--not right. <p> a player BJ

  There are some text ads that you can't turn off without a feature code. It's not too obtrusive, and if it makes this solid program free, it's worth it!

  Graphics are great -- cards are very large and the interface is very easy. (much better than that other site that starts with Y and ends with hoo). <p> <p>You can play online (Canasta, Dots, Checkers, Euchre, Pinochle, Dominoes, Hearts, Spades) or offline (Canasta, Dominoes, with more offline opponents to come). <p> <p>The people there are great. You can play in leagues or just for fun. The best thing of all is the developers are usually available online for quesitons or help. This is the BEST customer service I have seen for any free software. <p> <p>You can purchase additional add-ins for more graphics and sounds, but there is nothing functionally disabled in the free version. Updates and improvements are frequent, and Thomas at MPI (the programmer) is VERY responsive to members' desires and comments. <p> <p>This site is kid-friendly. Chat is closely monitored, especially in the leagues, and violators are warned, then banned.

  Cons

  There are some occasional bugs, but far fewer that on any other multiplayer site I have seen, and the developers respond and fix them very quickly.

  I came to this site about 5 yrs ago with each update it gets better and better. Nice people fun staff, Just a great place to play.
