  Does not work in WinXP but you can get driver here: <p> <p>go to ppchips dot com dot tw <p>web site to find their modem driver <p>change all ` to . to get proper URL, put it all on the same line: <p> <p>www`pcchips`com`tw/PCCWeb/Downloads/ProductsDetail_Download`aspx?CategoryID=1&Typeid=5&detailid=38&DetailName=Driver&DetailDesc=M741LT(V3`1)&MenuID=35&LanID=2

  the original cd which came with this is unable to install but the file i downloaded from the download.com is working its nice

  I can't imagine why this driver doesn't work with windowsXP although it is in the line of NT technology. I'm using 3 OS in one pc, with XP, win2000 professional, and win98. In win2000 professional, I can browse the net eventhough it is a NT OS. I can't see the difference between XP and 2000 except of some system matters but not technology. Can C-Media producer develop the same driver but with XP capability. This modem sucks. Waste of money.

  Before this i could not hear speech sounds in Prince of Persia 3D and Max Payne always crashes when sound is enabled. Now POP3D and Max Payne works fine. I would recommend you to use this driver. Note:- My system is Windows98 SE.
