BuddyBackup gives you unlimited online backups of your files for free, by allowing you to easily and securely backup your data onto your buddies. You can even backup to USB drives and other locations (such as NAS and SAN) just as easily! BuddyBackup takes the effort out of backups. You only need a couple of clicks to setup and then it will silently run in the background backing up your files and there are no backup schedules to set up. BuddyBackup also continuously backs up your files the moment they change. This means that you have up-to-the-second protection.

Works really well

Pros
Worked straight away - was quickly able to back up to my other computer. It's pretty quiet - hasn't bugged me much yet. The price is right :-). To be honest, the app is as good as some commercial online backup apps.
Cons
Would be good to be able to customize backups a bit more - choosing who to backup maybe? You need your buddy online (though actually it apparantly will just remember changes and back them up later on).
Summary
Download and install process was fine. I added my other "buddy" and it immediately connected, which surprised me as it is behind a firewall. I added my files (it let me customise exactly what to backup which I liked) and it started. It took a while to do the first backup but I think that's just my internet connection. After that I've not noticed it all. What I especially like is that the moment I change a file, it's backed up pretty soon after.
