This easy-to-use freeware executable helps users find stuck pixels on LCD monitors. BrightDotChecker 1 doesn't have an interface. All functions are invoked with hot keys.

BrightDotChecker 1 fills the screen with red, blue, green, black, white, or your desktop's default background color. Changing colors is as easy as entering the proper two-key hot key combination. Color change is immediate and consistent across the monitor, making it much easier to pick out a stuck pixel on a crowded desktop.

As an executable this application is easily utilized from your USB toolbox. If you think you have a stuck pixel, this application makes it easy to check.

When you buy new computer or notebook you dont want to have bright dotes on LCD display. By changing displays background color in full screen mode you can see those bright dotes. To find them you must test display in red, green, and blue color. BrightDotChecker will help you with that task. Utility starts in full screen mode and lets you to switch background color very fast, also shortcuts and context menu let you make it very easy. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.
