BlastStation for Windows

BlastStation is an interface program that makes BLAST (Basic Local Alignment Search Tool) searches faster and easier to use. BlastStation 2.31 performs NCBI BLAST searches more than 10x faster than the regular sequential NCBI BLAST searches, with the innovative Dynamic Blast Accelerator (DBA) technology. BlastStation also performs WU-Blast2 searches using the EBI (European Bioinformatics Institute) server with the same easy-to-use interface. Another feature of BlastStation is local BLAST search capability. You can download database files from the NCBI ftp server, create database files from your FASTA files, and perform standalone BLAST searches on your PC.
