With these two programs, you will lose nothing in Internet or on your PC. MSN Search Toolbar could be a nice addition to Internet Explorer, yet it is wholly focused on Microsoft search services. You can t add other search engines. The built-in pop-up blocker handled well standard ads yet let in DHTML (fly-in) pop-ups. However, the second component does make the suite worth downloading. With Windows Desktop Search, finding a document by its contents takes seconds. The program uses the familiar Explorer interface. We found very convenient the ability to preview the contents of various documents. The program gives you full control over indexing. You can select folders and file types to index or skip. Not to slow down your computer, the program can automatically pause indexing when you work on your PC. Windows Desktop Search doesn t hog much system memory when idle. All told, the utility is a must-have if you need to quickly locate files on your PC.

Its really snappy and enables me to get points only by searching.

Its a bit oldish, not Windows 8 friendly yet.

bingbar has almost everything I needed for fast information especially with regards to my mails, weather report, Facebook and news. Can I get the one that works on Firefox also.

Pros
Can't say anything positive because I am still peeved that this version was foisted on me.
Cons
Does not have the sophisticated look and feel of the previous version. I hate the search bar being in the middle.
Summary
I had the update for V7 supressed because I preferred V6. And still one day the update was somehow sneakily foisted on me against my desires. Whatever benefit this new version provides should have been incorporated within the much better operational and visual esthetics of V6. Boo to BING.
B/ Bar is good when it comes to getting quick results.

I think i like the features in 7.0.609.0 Bing Bar, although i needed more time before making fair statement.
Cons
If Bing Bar can only function with Internet Explorer browser, it means that the benefits of your technology will not be fully put to use.

-Integrated very well with many MS services such as Bing, Maps, Movie, News, Games -Support getting mails from yahoo mail. google mail, hotmails -Facebook integration ... and many other cool features

None, I've not found yet.
Summary
Just try it and spend sometime playing with it, you will be satisfied. Never "Just install and see only".

Everything! Do not, under any circumstance, install Toolbars! They are useless, typically contain spyware, and bog up the system.

NONE. There is NOTHING worthwhile about this product.
Cons
What it returns does NOT make any sense at all. It presents the least relevant stuff first, and the remotely relevant items are buried. If you like Google, you will LOATHE Bing. It horns in and takes over without your permission on other products...
Summary
TOTAL WASTE of time to use Bing. TOTAL WASTE of computer space to even install the search bar. If it were living, I'd say it uses too much oxygen. My only wish is that there were a way to give it a NEGATIVE FIVE rating.
