This application lets you personalize your Open and Save As dialog boxes, but it failed to work on some programs.

BigWindows requires no installation and launches in a crowded and unpleasant user interface for configuring the dialog boxes settings. Customize everything--from the dimension of the Save As window to setting actions like starting a program at Windows start-up or running in hidden mode. With BigWindows, you easily can set the open and save path of any application, though it's limited to 10 programs. However, the dimensions we set for the Open and Save As dialog boxes did not work for some programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

As a result, users looking for an effective program to customize Open and Save As display boxes may find this tool inadequate.
