• Best Bible study tool available.

  Pros

  One of the best study tools for God's word available today. Why pay hundreds of dollars or even thousands for LOGOS or any other Bible software when this one is free with many free and cheap modules. This software can do cutting-edge things even the high priced ones can't do. I'm sold on Bible Analyzer.

  Cons

  Nothing really, but I do look forward to seeing more modules available in the future. One important thing I've not learned is how to highlight verses for future reference and quick finding.

  Summary

  I would highly recommend this software and encourage you to support it by buying modules. In the end you are not only helping the programmer, but doing yourself a huge favor.

  Pros

  Yes it has a lot of free stuff which is very nice.

  Cons

  This program doesn't work on a 64 machine. I had to call the help line in order to record my purchases. Each time I open the program it says a update is available, I click and it downloads but I always get a message saying it's not available. I paid for a Holmon version but the program won't download it.

  Summary

  I don't know what's going on with the software but I'm not happy about buying something and not being able to use it.

  I've explored a number of Bible programs, with many having a confusing interface. I like the no hassle layout of this program. It's easy to learn how to navigate through the several tools that the program includes. While the basic program is offered for free (and that may be enough for some users), the program can be expanded with the purchase of add-ons from the developer. Very nice program and I'm pleased to have found it.

  Pros

  It does a wide variety of searching and comentary work.

  Cons

  Biggest draw back is that it only uses 2 bible versions, king James and American standard of 1901. With many new translations, this is missing a major study advantage. But it is free so don't complain too loudly.

  Summary

  Good to start a search or study with. But you will end up needing many other resources that this product does not supply.

  Instant access to any scripture; with references, introduction, comments and more. Does not take long to get started.

  Can't find a complaint yet.

  Summary

  If you really want to dig deep into scripture, this is an excellent program. I can imagine teachers preparing bible study would find it extremely helpful.

  Pros

  There is just so much information available right at my finger tips. Instead of needing several reference books I have a wealth of information that I can compare, cross reference, and build a true understanding.

  Cons

  Well there is very little that i don't like. Most of my difficulties with this, as well as other programs, is my inability to interact fully. I use a voice typing program and sometimes have difficulty navigating the full capabilities of the software.

  Summary

  I highly recommend this to anyone who is serious about Biblical Studies, and also for those who just need a foundational program to start their study of the Bible. It offers the best resources for both beginner and those , like myself, who have been studying formally for almost 30 years. I use it regularly in my research and study toward my Doctorate in Early Christian History.
